Current Hotel Experience

We’re excited to welcome you to Crowne Plaza Hunter Valley. The Hunter Valley Region is experiencing very high volumes of tourism, so we recommend planning ahead and booking your dining and holiday experiences prior to your arrival.

To keep you safe, your hotel experience might seem a little different as we have adjusted to Government Covid-19 guidelines and public health advice. Upon entering the hotel, all guests will be required to complete the Service NSW contact tracing check-in. Also, we ask for your co-operation with the government mandated social distancing limits across all venues in the hotel.

Changes to Breakfast

Start the day right with our new a la carte breakfast with two courses, offering your choice of one hot and one cold option, bottomless tea and coffee and a complimentary pastry basket. View our breakfast menu.

  • As per Government regulations, we have unfortunately removed our signature buffet breakfast at this time
  • If breakfast is inclusive as part of your accommodation booking, you may choose from two courses (one hot and one cold), plus bottomless tea and coffee and a pastry basket is provided
  • For guests where breakfast is not included as part of your accommodation booking, you may add the a la carte breakfast option for $35 per person.
  • An  in room dining  option for breakfast is also available for non-inclusive breakfast guests

Resort Pool

  • Pool opening times: 6.30am-dusk daily
  • Covid 19 Cleaning procedures and social distancing requirements are in line with current Government guidelines.
  • Our Outdoor Spa and Sauna are currently closed.

Lovedale Bar and Restaurant

Lovedale Bar & Restaurant is our all-day dining option for lunch and dinner offering relaxed alfresco dining.

  • Open for lunch and dinner from 10am-9pm (with food service from 11am). Bookings are essential for large groups and brewery tours
  • Contact information will be required for each non-registered guest, in line with current Government regulations
  • Takeaway options available

Redsalt Restaurant

Redsalt Restaurant is our signature, fine dining restaurant showcasing the finest local Hunter Valley produce. Offering a seasonal a la carte menu or a 5-course degustation menu, pair your meal with some of the finest Hunter Valley wines. View our dinner menu

  • Open for dinner each Thursday-Sunday from 5:30pm – 10:30pm (last bookings taken at 8:45pm).
  • Contact information will be required for each non-registered guest, in line with current Government regulations
  • Dinner bookings are essential.

Changes to Your Hotel Experience

  • We kindly request that only one registered guest from your party approach our front desk team when checking in
  • Upon registration you will be required to provide all of the names of the persons in your party, including children
  • We temporarily require all guests to handle their own luggage
  • When possible, please utilise our Express Checkout and Contactless Checkout services

Hotel Facilities

  • Ubika Spa ,  Hunter Valley Golf and  Sydney Brewery Hunter Valley   are open
  • Our onsite gym and resort pools are open for the exclusive use of hotel guests
  • Due to extreme popularity, please ensure you pre-book your Ubika Spa treatment, Hunter Valley Golf Game or Sydney Brewery Hunter Valley tour ahead of your arrival, to avoid disappointment
  • Our new Water Park is now open for the exclusive use of hotel guests. Complete with an assortment of slides, water cannons, flumes and jets it is designed to entertain the whole family in hours of aquatic fun

IHG Way of Clean

As a member of the IHG family, we have a long-standing commitment to rigorous cleaning procedures. This programme is now being expanded with additional COVID-19 protocols and best practices – many of which are already in place – to reflect the advice of the World Health Organization, Centers for Disease Control & Prevention and local public health authorities in markets around the world.

IHG Way of Clean already includes deep cleaning with hospital-grade disinfectants, and going forward, guests can expect to see evolved procedures in every area of the hotel, which may include:

  • Reception: Reduced contact at check-in, touchless transactions, front desk screens, sanitiser stations, keyless entry and sanitised key-cards, paperless check-out
  • Public Spaces and Facilities: Additional deep cleaning of high touch surfaces, social distancing, ‘last cleaned’ charts, best practices for pools, fitness centres and lounges
  • Guest Room: Visible verification of sanitised items (e.g. glassware, remote control), reduction of in-room furnishings/high-touch items, new laundry protocols, use of electrostatic technology
  • Food & Beverage: New standards and service approach to buffets, banquets, room-service and catering

Supporting the Wellbeing of Guests and Colleagues

Enabling the personal wellbeing of guests and colleagues is key. We’re working closely with a team of medical experts at the world-renowned Cleveland Clinic to develop guidance and resources for hotel teams on returning to work and keeping guests safe in this new environment, some of which include:

  • Cleanliness information in hotels and on IHG’s booking channels
  • Social distancing operating procedures and signage
  • Guidance on the use of protective equipment as necessary by hotel colleagues 
  • Updated colleague training and certification
  • Availability of individual guest amenity cleaning kits
  • Hand sanitiser and disinfecting wipes available in guest rooms and at high-touch points throughout hotels
